Spring Break Mar 19-Apr 5

There was a lucky winner of a signed, first edition copy of the latest Wings of Fire book. Congratulations to everyone who entered the contest!  There were 88 entries, one for each series title a student read. Pretty impressive reading for such a small school. 

Many thanks to Books4Brains Bookstore in Comox for generously donating both this book prize and a copy for the school. 
Have great Break everyone, with lots of time curled up with some good books!

HICS Weekly News Jan 25 - 28

The Shelter got an upgrade, the Students completed a painting project to install on the outer walls. Great job! Adds so much life and color to our school field.
