As of today, there is not all that much to give as an update, however we are making plans as we wait for information from the Ministry so that we can move forward with our next steps. We realize that the school year is rapidly winding down and we want to meet with the community to discuss future plans. As such we are offering the following invitation…
School District 71 invites the parents and family members of students at Hornby Island school and interested community members to a community information session regarding the next steps in the process for a replacement school on Hornby Island. The meeting will take place on Thursday June 20th, 2019 at the Hornby Island Community Hall from 10:15 until 12:15.
We hope to see many school and community families involved in this process.
